In countries such as China and Taiwan, the traditional color for wedding dresses are red as this is a sign of luck. A lot of Chinese brides in the western countries choose to get married in wedding gowns that are a combination of red and white.
It is very important that the decision on a wedding gown is not made hastily, as this is a one off special occasion. You only get one chance to get the right wedding gown. A lot of brides opt for a good designer who can help them to get the wedding gown that they want.
It is not necessary for every bride to choose a designer wedding gown as long as they choose one that is comfortable and that they like and will be proud to wear on their special day when they get married. If you are trying to get married on a very tight budget it is possibly to rent wedding gowns but this will greatly reduce the amount of choice that you have.
